Jeff Carter started and continued his career in the Logistics Division at Mervyn’s California. Over the course of 16 years, he managed nearly every department in two of the company’s state-of-the-art distribution centers. He then returned to Utah, his home state, and spent three years as manager over warehousing, distribution and transportation at the Sundance Catalog Company. When he joined Backcountry.com in 2001, he supervised one part-time shipping employee. Now, as Vice President of Fulfillment for the company, he directs more than 250 employees, oversees a distribution center (soon to be two) holding more 290,000 SKUs across 600 brands, and, this year, will manage the fulfillment of more than 4.5 million orders.

Glenda Lehman Ervin is the Vice President of Marketing for Lehman’s and the daughter of company founder Jay Lehman. She is responsible for the advertising, marketing and media relations for the multi-channel business.

After working as a journalist for several years, she joined a Fortune 200 company, returning to Lehman’s in 1996. She graduated from Taylor University with a double major in journalism and English, and received a master’s from Indiana University.

Prior to Circle Commerce (formerly Avexxis), Mr. Hanshaw held the title of Vice President, Finance and Systems at Transax Data Corporation. He developed the company’s Shiprate tariff search application that was a key element in the acquisition of the company by Knight Ridder Newspaper’s subsidiary, the Journal Of Commerce. Prior to that, Deborah spent 5 years on the faculty at Vanderbilt University, where she had previously obtained her PhD in Psychophysics.

Marc McCrery is the Manager, Specialty Shipping with the United State Post Office. named to manager, Specialty Shipping, in April 2010. He has responsibility for Express Mail, Priority Mail documents, and lightweight parcels. He came to that role with experience in several Marketing and Operations functions at USPS.

A 22-year veteran of the U.S. Postal Service, he joined the Postal Service as a specialist, training in Des Moines, IA and Harrisburg, PA. In the past, Doug has worked with companies such as Sony Electronics, Guitar Center, and PETsMART to create customer distribution models that balance superior performance with operational cost efficiency and manage WMS and ERP implementations. Doug earned his MBA in International Business at Park University in Kansas City.

Russell Taddeo joined Rue La La in October 2010, where he is responsible for inbound and outbound transportation, warehousing and fulfillment, fraud, and drop ship programs in operations that service nearly 6 million Members. Among his successes, Russell led efforts to redesign packaging while reducing cost, dramatically reduced customer-facing fulfillment errors, and improved vendor performance to key performance indicators.

Prior to Rue La La, Russell spent ten years at Staples, Inc., holding various positions in corporate strategy, logistics strategy, and supply chain. His last six years were focused on driving supply chain improvement, reducing expenses, and working on acquisition integration in the $8B North American Delivery Business. While there, he also became certified as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. Russell holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Maryland and an MBA from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University.

In addition, Sheryl's experience includes: global risk management, operational efficiency identification and implementation, and organizational cost reduction and workflow improvements.
