Join us Tuesday from 12-3 PM to walk through the Office Depot warehouse with other Ops Summit attendees. Get a first hand look on how one of the biggest office distributor’s warehouse functions. Pre-registration is required. Seating is limited, so reserve your seat fast!

KENNEDY SPACE CENTER TOUR
Walk the halls of one of the nation’s most exciting visitor centers with fellow Summit attendees. Relive parts of the Apollo program through simulation from launch to moon landing. See a launch complex with your own eyes. Get up close and personal with the space shuttle Atlantis. Hear the history of all NASA has accomplished in human spaceflight, aeronautics, space science, and space.

TikTok Testing Addition of Social Commerce URLs
Short-form mobile video app TikTok is expanding its ecommerce footprint by testing a new feature allowing users to add a shoppable URL to their bios or videos, creating an online store where consumers can shop without leaving the app. The move is seen as a strategy to compete with Instagram and Facebook shopping.
Study Finds 80% of Consumers Shop on Smartphones, M-Commerce Gains
A study commissioned by PayPal, conducted by the global market research and consulting firm Ipsos, shows consumers are shopping on smartphones more than ever but remain concerned about mobile commerce security. The global study of 22,000 consumers across age groups found 80% of consumers have shopped via smartphone, but only 63% of ecommerce businesses are optimized to accept mobile payments
Assessing the Impact of 2020 Rate Increases from UPS
Effective Dec. 29, UPS ground, air and international rates will increase by an average of 4.9%. Keep in mind that there is often a discrepancy between the announced increase and the effect on individual shippers.
